The Postgraduate Fantasy: Not Such a Fairy Tale After All

It has officially been a year and a couple months since I have graduated from college and received my degree.  Something that I dreamed of doing since I was a little girl and something that I was told would definitely set me up and prepare me for the “real world”.

In the meanwhile, I have talked to a few of my friends that I graduated with and it seems as if we all unanimously agreed on one thing:  that we wish we would’ve been more prepared for the “real world” and the various obstacles that we have faced in today’s society.  A suffering job market, living on your own, competition within the workplace, a fast adjustment to being treated and seen as an adult; all of these factors have or are affecting thousands of American college/university graduates nationwide and things haven’t been so easy.

So I decided to create a video talking about this very topic; as well as, send some encouraging words to all of the young grads that are dealing with this.

What are your thoughts on this topic???
